The first European Jigsaw Puzzle Championship.
This championship is open for European nationalities/participants.
All registered participants receive a Trefl puzzle as a gift.
The competition area will have 100 tables arranged as follows: one row of 6 tables, one row of 10 tables and six rows of 14 tables.
Group Assignment for Preliminary Round
The total number of participants per group will be determined by dividing the total number of participants by the number of groups.
Only the organizer may make changes to group assignments, and only for duly justified reasons.
The organizer will publish the final group classification at least 15 days before the start of the competition.
Pairs and teams of mixed nationalities
In the case of pairs with people from different European nationalities, they must notify the organizer which of the two countries they will represent.
Likewise, each team must represent a single country and will wear a single flag on posters and classifications.
In the case of mixed teams with members of different nationalities, the team will decide and inform the organizer which country they will represent before the start of the EJPC.
Once the championship has started, this condition will be unchangeable both for pairs and teams categories.

In the Sportshall you can find a 360 fixed seat grandstand and buffet.
Parking is available for 135 cars, 4 places for disabled parking and 4 places for buses, and there are available bicycle parking spaces.
The facility is wheelchair accessible. Free parking.
Getting there by public transport:
Buses 35, 36, 38, 123, 123A and 135.
Getting off the bus at station Soroksár, Kertvárosi körút or Szentlőrinci úti lakótelep (housing estate)
The buffet offers sweets, sandwiches, crisps, soft drinks and coffee.
Accomodation nearby in districts 9th, 18th, 19th, 20th, 21st and 23rd.
GENERAL CONDITIONS:
Registration
Registration opens at the time indicated in the event description.
The registration is final once it is confirmed by email and the registration fee has been paid.
In the event of cancellation or postponement of the Championship due to circumstances beyond the organizer’s control, the Hungarian Jigsaw Puzzle Association will not be responsible for indirect expenses incurred by participants, apart from reimbursing paid registration fees.
Refunds are possible until the date specified in the description.
Competition Area
Access to the competition area is restricted to participants, judges, and authorized personnel with proper accreditation.
All tables will be numbered and display the names of the participants. Tables size is 180x70 cm.
Participants must arrive to the competition area at latest 15 minutes before the start of the event.
Pets are not allowed in the competition area.
General information
Until the organizer signals the start of the event and the stopwatch starts, the puzzles are not allowed to be disassembled or opened.
The organizer draws attention to the fact that photos and videos will be taken during the event, which may be published on the Internet or other social media.
The participation of children under 18 years of age in the events is subject to parental consent, which can be requested by sending a letter to the official email address of the Association.
Final provisions
The organizer is entitled to decide on issues not regulated herein.
The organizer will do everything possible to ensure that the competition takes place smoothly and in sporting circumstances.
The organizer is not responsible for items lost during the competition. Participants are advised to keep a close eye on their personal valuables.
