Individual Category

It will consist of 2 phases: preliminary round and final.

Individual Preliminary Round: a maximum of 600 players will participate, divided into 3 groups (A, B, C) with a maximum of 200 participants per group.

In the individual qualifier, participants can sit at shared tables, regardless of the actual number of starters.

Each participant will receive 1 Trefl high-quality puzzle of 500 pieces hidden in an opaque bag that they cannot discover until the beginning of the event, and they must assemble it in a maximum time of 90 minutes, with the first 62 classified in each group accessing the final.

The top 14 classified will participate on a single table in the final, the rest will share the table with another participant.

Individual Final: 186 players will participate (62 qualifiers from each preliminary groups). The Individual European Champion will be the participant who manages to assemble an unpublished 500-piece Trefl jigsaw puzzle in the shortest possible time, or in the case of no participant finishing within the maximum period of 75 minutes, the one who has placed the highest number of pieces correctly.

The individual registration fee is €40. The amount includes the puzzle of the preliminary round, and the remaining puzzle if you qualify for the final.

Participants may keep the puzzles.
